Right now Microsoft is launching the sale of its new operating system Windows 2000. We at Uniserv are fully aware of the significance of this NT successor. All products that were already available until now for Windows NT will also be offered for Windows 2000. "That corresponds to our company strategy to offer our address management solutions on all generally used IT platforms," explains Uniserv’s CEO Roland Pfeiffer.
At present, Uniserv developers are occupied with intensive tests. The developers responsible for the tests check the behavior of new installations on Windows 2000 servers, on Professional and Advanced Servers as well as the respective upgrading from Windows 95/98/NT to Windows 2000.
All products of the OPEN.edition product line (software
components for interactive address maintenance) were successfully
tested and confirmed for Windows 2000. The systems for the
geographical coding of addresses CATALYST-Geocode, MIKRONNECTION
and GEOCODEplus will be checked in the coming days and will
be available at the end of February. The tests for all of
the products in the BATCH.line category (programs
for the sequential processing of large volumes of addresses
in a batch), will be available from the second quarter of
2000 for Windows 2000.
For the direct marketing workbench click it in the series INTEGRATED.systems (complete application solution for largely uniform processing), Uniserv will come out on the market with a completely new release in the second quarter of 2000. This new product has already been developed on Windows 2000 and will thus automatically be Windows 2000 compliant.
