For some time Uniserv has been offering its address management solutions post, mail, the respective geocoding systems and click it for Oracle® (databases Oracle 8®, Oracle 8i™, Oracle 9i Application Server Enterprise Edition). The conclusive handshake with Oracle® took place recently with Uniserv’s entry into the Oracle partner program. Therewith Uniserv is now officially recognized as Oracle® partner in the truest sense of the expression "on Oracle". With this as background, Uniserv will participate for the first time in the German Oracle OpenWorld. This congress trade fair takes place from June 18 - 21, 2001 at the ICC Berlin. Uniserv will present its solutions there in Hall 12, Stand 716.

With its new Oracle® product family, Uniserv takes into account the desire of many Oracle® users for a solution completely integrated into the Oracle® environment. "The new products provide the users with a basic technology for their CRM, ERP, data warehousing and other projects that are linked with large address databases”, explains Ulrich Sohn, who is responsible at Uniserv for international sales. Mr. Sohn adds: "For companies that until now have accepted rather bad address quality because of the great integration effort, we offer our expert systems which enable fast and easy integration into our expert systems."

In contrast to other offerings, the Uniserv solution features several concrete advantages for every user. The address components are directly utilizable by all Oracle® client platforms and development tools through Oracle® PL/SQL Package function calls. The address database is automatically synchronized with the OE-mail index pool. Integrity is even ensured when updates are partially implemented on the address database with programs and procedures that do not contain any address management function. In addition, all transactions with the Oracle® database are automatically synchronized. Customizing takes place conveniently within the Oracle® environment with the aid of a dialog tool.

A master console monitors the system. With it, the entire system can be controlled and monitored, with special functions for diagnosis. Last but not least, the system is very scalable. This is especially due to the fact that the OE server optionally runs on one’s own computers or on the same computer as the Oracle® database. The address database itself can be flexibly distributed on one or several OE-mail servers. This Oracle® product family is available for all generally used UNIX derivatives and for Windows NT/2000.

Thus, all users and customers who have opted for Oracle® with their projects not only have the Uniserv address management product family for Oracle® at their disposal, but also special Oracle® know-how for the implementation.
