Nuremberg/Pforzheim, 3rd May 2011 –
Talend, the world's leading supplier of open source software, has entered into a strategic partnership with Uniserv, the data quality solution supplier. The goal of the partnership is the development and worldwide sale of comprehensive data management solutions by Uniserv. Uniserv has already put a Data Integration Suite based on the Talend technology on the market. This was launched at the end of March.
"Our customers increasingly demand comprehensive and comfortable data management solutions. We have therefore enlisted the support of Talend to extend our range of services for Data Quality to include tasks from the area of data integration", explains Roland Pfeiffer, CEO of Uniserv GmbH. "We decided to opt for Talend as a partner for several reasons: it was important that the technology met all our requirements, the development cycles were very short as a result of open source and the price/performance ratio was very attractive compared with proprietary suppliers. In addition to this, a close working relationship was very important to us, because this is the only way that projects of this kind can be quickly implemented.“
"The technology agreement illustrates once more just how quickly and above all efficiently in-house connectors and new applications based on them can be developed thanks to our open source platform", says Christopher Hackett, Sales Director at Talend. "Uniserv contributes a great deal of project experience from the area of data quality. Together with Uniserv, we aim to repeat this success with application-specific data management solutions."
