Uniserv, the Pforzheim specialist for address management, has recently supplemented its country-specific software offering with an additional expert system for Belgium. Currently you can check Brussels addresses with post for Belgium. From the end of August 2000, a street directory with blanket coverage will be available that will enable you to check all Belgian addresses and will moreover support Flemish and French spellings – even interchangeably.

In the course of this new development, the Pforzheim specialists have equipped the postal validation for Portuguese addresses, which has been available since May 2000, with an all-encompassing street directory. The directory works exclusively with seven-digit postal codes, encompasses all 128,000 streets in Portugal, provides lot numbers and five-digit house numbers.

In taking these measures, Uniserv is consistently pursuing its challenging pan-European solution strategy of developing and providing superior postal validation systems for all important European countries. The aim, together with partners from all over Europe, is to offer all customers a comprehensive address management solution encompassing all of Europe that has one homogeneous design, is sector-neutral, modularly constructed and is available for all generally used IT platforms.
