The product release of this postal validation system for the US took place on December 1, 2002.

It can be smoothly deployed in any arbitrary application under mySAP.com™ or existing SAP® applications. This means that post for mySAP.com is compliant with the standards SAP sets on postal address validation.

post for mySAP.com for the US checks, corrects and updates US addresses on the basis of the official database of the US Postal Service (USPS) and ensures via a regular data update a consistently high degree of up-to-dateness with complete area coverage. With the system, approximately 280 million US consumer addresses can be accurately checked down to the street, house or apartment level. Both the normal five-digit postal code (ZIP) and the nine-digit (ZIP+4) are supported.

As SAP software partner, Uniserv is thus one of the first solutions providers worldwide to offer, with post for mySAP.com, an industry sector-neutral and application-neutral program system that is equipped with a SAP-certified integration to validate US addresses in the SAP environment. Together with mail for mySAP.com™, an additional solution provided by Uniserv for customer identification and address retrieval, all processes for entering, validating, changing and maintaining customer and prospect addresses can from now on be managed within a SAP application.

post for mySAP.com is designed to be a key solution to meet current requirements with respect to data quality and up-to-dateness in address management and in handling customer relationships, e.g. within CRM applications. The software is based on ultra-modern client-server technology and is compatible with all platforms for which mySAP.com is available.

Uniserv's sales partner, Anchor Computer Software, Rockville, MD, a company specializing in address management solutions, is responsible for the introduction of Uniserv's postal validation system into the US market. First installations are immediately forthcoming.
