Demo / Examples

In the product demonstration section, you can gain an impression of the options for the optimum merging of addresses which you have with mailBatch. The following explanatory information will help you get started in the demo.

In principle, there are two different kinds of matching operations. The Consumer Comparison is primarily intended for cleansing private addresses. In contrast to this, the Business Comparison extends the cleaning of duplicates by company addresses and considers their particular features such as departments. In this software demonstration, we take you to the Consumer Comparison first of all. You can change over very easily by clicking the button "Business Comparison".

Both matching operations are provided with the switches "Clustering" and "Duplicates". The type of matching can be selected via "Clustering", i.e. which components of an address are used for duplicate matching and merging. The "Duplicates" switch determines the quality of the matching. With "only reliable", only the addresses which were identified as being relatively reliable are merged into one duplicate group (underkill). They are marked with a green dot. The setting "all" also includes the addresses which differ from each other to a large extent in the duplicate group (overkill). These are marked with a red square.

All the underlined items have a Help Text which provide you with valuable and interesting explanatory information. All addresses starting with arrow up to the following blank line form a duplicate group. The selected examples refer to the countries China, Germany, France, Greece as well as Russia and the USA. They are representative of the data matching expertise of Uniserv with more than 20 countries as well as the Unicode capability of the data matching software mailBatch.

The address material used in the software demonstration is made unidentifiable, so that no inferences can normally be made about real individuals. The company names used occasionally coincide with real companies; however, this is only used to illustrate the individual content of product services in this demonstration.
