Data Quality Real-Time Services

We have combined our solutions for securing the quality of address data in online applications in the Real-Time Services. It makes no difference whether it concerns a conventional client/server application or an Internet/Intranet solution, incorrect or incomplete address information is prevented to the largest possible extent by means of the Data Quality Real-Time Services. Hearing, reading, typing errors or abbreviations are automatically corrected "on the fly" by error-tolerant access to reference data and are thereby excluded as sources of error. In this case, the Real-Time Services act as a Data Quality Firewall. A fully automatic duplicate check (without user interaction) and the option of carrying out clustering on the basis of name and address elements (e.g. household) are other important facilities. In addition to this, addresses can also be interactively qualified, personalised and evaluated according to various aspects (examples: micromarketing or risk management).

The features Server Control and Database Connector, which can be used as option in the Data Quality Real-Time Services, leave nothing to be desired, even in the case of installations with the highest demands of performance and reliability:

• All servers can be centrally administered and monitored.
• Automatic synchronisation of the specialised internal data quality indices with the application data via database triggers.
• Parallelisation and load distribution also beyond computer limits, therefore maximum scalability and extra security through redundancy.
