- Micromarketing Information
We provide you with micromarketing information on the basis of data from our micromarketing partners in the context of "ready to run" address geocoding. Hence, important statistical market information is available to you on the microcell level. On the basis of milieu and type groups and different other variables, target groups now can be exactly localized, described and differentiated. Furthermore, micromarketing information can be used as a building block in checking the creditworthiness of new customers.
The circle of our micromarketing partners is expanding steadily. The Uniserv geocoding solution offers you the advantage of using the data for micromarketing in all system environments - not only in a batch but also online and in Internet applications, without "bridges" and extra development effort and expense. On request the postal check and correction can be integrated synchronously.
- REPLIC – Assignment of microcells with French addresses
REPLIC enables the classification of French addresses by assigning official geographic key values (codes). This possibility of geographic address coding is based on regular data provided by the Institut National de la Statistique et des Études Économiques (INSEE).
- Coordinates
For various countries we offer you the possibility of assigning coordinates. The coordinates exist for every city, for every district in many cities, for streets and even for the single house layer. Coordinates are the basis for route/tour planning or "next to" applications for indicating the next place of business, the closest shop or something similar. A look at the Internet application of our customer PlanetHome, who has received many awards, shows you geocoding in an interesting practical application.
- Barcoding in freight shipment of the Deutsche Post AG
As cooperation partner of the Deutsche Post AG, you can put the required codes for the return address (Identcode) and the recipient (routing code) on your packages and thus take advantage of certain postage discounts. While the assignment of the Identcodes is relatively simple for postage optimization, determining the routing code is only possible via the target address and requires a coding down to the individual house numbers. With the barcoding feature in geocoding, we offer you an elegant, integrated solution for this purpose which works together directly with the Uniserv solution for postage optimization in Germany (see also ecoSort).
- Geocoding of public authorities and administrative units
Address qualifying in customer management is often linked to requirements, which make the assignment of certain authorities or administrative agencies responsible for a geographical area necessary. For geocoding German addresses, we offer you an information tool with which you can complete your customer addresses with addresses and additional data from the respective responsible
- registration office
- tax and revenue offices
- local courts

To keep your addresses updated, Uniserv provides updates at fixed intervals for the geographic information we offer.
Integration with postal checking and correction
The solution
geocoding can either be utilized alone or in conjunction with the postal check and correction. For most applications, using
geocoding in combination with the
postal check and correction is to be recommended. You therewith always keep your stock of addresses synchronous and up-to-date both with regard to the geographic information and to the addressing. If you obtain
geocoding integrated with Uniserv's solution for postal checking, you have the advantage that both systems build on the same city and street reference files and that the updates Uniserv periodically supplies are already completely integrated and coordinated in one delivery. That means you get the best possible data quality with a minimum of effort and expense.
