Depending on the platform, special program versions are available for the different tasks in recognizing duplicates for consumer addresses in the B2C sector and for business addresses in the B2B sector.

For integrated cooperation with the product mailRetrieval, special platform-dependent program features are available which enable the merging of the address information managed with mailRetrieval directly into mailBatch. Thus, simpler operation for the user, higher integration in the processing sequence and a previously unknown increase in performance are achieved.

Here an example from practical experience:
The comparison of one million foreign addresses against a database containing 30 million addresses managed by mailRetrieval is possible in less than an hour! And this with full error tolerance in all name and address fields. To achieve this result no "super-computer" is required. On the contrary, the comparison can be implemented on an " average" UNIX system in the lower performance spectrum.

mailBatch also enables address comparison checks for international address lists and address files. For that, special country versions are available as expert systems with integrated knowledge about the particularities of the country and the language area. At present, mailBatch supports 22 countries.

Duplicate recognition of relocation information in German lists and address files is supported by a service of Deutsche Post Adress GmbH, which makes available forwarding applications submitted to the Deutsche Post AG as up-to-date information concerning relocation addresses.

For the computer-supported processing of relocation addresses, Uniserv offers the mailBatch supplementary feature 'relocation'. This product is also offered in a self-contained solution as stand-alone version.
