Special attention was paid to achieving smooth integration into the ORACLE® environment during the development of the relevant components. Uniserv's address management solution is realized consistently in client/server technology and fits seamlessly into the ORACLE® environment. Use is possible both with modern ORACLE® applications in client/server technology and with "classic" centralized ORACLE® applications, irrespective of whether your application uses 5250 fonts or a Windows graphical user interface. All validation and correction processes run automatically in the background.

Online Application
For the function calls of online checks, Uniserv provides a program interface. The actual validation and correction processes run then automatically in the background. Special emphasis was placed on smooth integration into typical ORACLE® development environments such as ORACLE® Forms. However the Uniserv interface can also be integrated without any difficulty into other development environments such as Internet application developments in Java or even classical programming laguages like Cobol  or C.

Batch Application
The communication of the DMS batch application ensues via the file interfaces. For that reason, the integration there is usually possible without developing an application and without intervening in existing applications.

Background Processes
The Uniserv background processes for the search, validation and correction functions of addresses link directly to the Oracle® database and operate as independent server processes.

Simple Administration
Customizing ensues in the Oracle® environment with the aid of a dialog tool. A master console ensures the monitoring of the system; with this the entire system can be controlled and monitored. Special functions are available for diagnoses.

All generally used system platforms
The Oracle® product family is available for all generally used UNIX derivates and for Windows NT/2000/XP. The Uniserv address management components are available for the databases Oracle8i™ and Oracle9i™.
