Our expert system post enables you to check postal addresses across 18 countries by street and house number. In addition to  this, ASP gives you the opportunity to carry out a basic check in a further 170 countries.
Correct postal addresses are vital when it comes to operating an efficient CRM, cutting advertising and postage costs or improving address matching results and interactive address searches.

This function sorts an address by its longitude and latitude, thus giving it a geographical designation. Sorting by coordinates allows potential customers to be visually represented according to e.g. their geographical spread. This is vital for targeting advertising at the right groups and optimising spread loss.
Most of the coordinates are available at the street level. Their degree of detail is successively refined in order to provide greater coverage up to the level of individual house numbers.
The coordinates include degrees of longitude and latitude given in decimal form, multiplied by a factor of 100,000. The data is available in WGS 84 format.

Specific to Germany, bank checks both the integrity of bank details (sort code, name and location of bank) as well as account number, as required. In addition, either a bank or a sort code can be searched for.
The code, name or location of a bank is checked against the reference list of the Deutsche Bundesbank in a process that is error-tolerant. The list contains more than 20,000 entries and covers all banks throughout Germany.
An error-tolerant check enables a wide variety of errors caused by misspelling, misreading, mishearing or misunderstanding to be automatically corrected. Even abbreviations, such as VB instead of Volksbank, pose no problem.

This allows you to check the plausibility of customers' and suppliers' credit card numbers. It operates by checking the plausibility of the credit card identification details or numbers. The numbers are divided into four groups and, amongst other things, specify the card's network, for example Eurocard. The checking procedure is international and can be used for all credit cards.

The International Bank Account Number (IBAN) was proposed and passed by the associations of European banks, savings banks and credit unions, which met in Brussels in the summer of 2001. It consists of a 34-digit number code by means of which cross-border payments can be automated. It will be available from the coming year. Austria, for example, is already working with IBAN. This function checks International Bank Account Numbers for their plausibility.

phone can be used to extend addresses by telephone numbers or to update telephone numbers already assigned to addresses. The telephone data is accessd error-tolerantly. As a result, the telephone number can also be assigned to an address in the event of hearing, reading and typing errors or abbreviations. phone is especially suitable for industrial and commercial sectors with large customer and prospective customer databases, particularly as part of call-centre applications and other areas which require intensive dialogue with customers and suppliers. Important functions of CRM projects, such as the help desk or complaint management, and other tasks of customer contact management can be effectively supported with phone.
