Corporate and social engagement is close to our heart
For some time now Uniserv has been active in various projects and initiatives for the public benefit. What is important to us in this respect is that our involvement is tangibly supported. At the moment, we are supporting the following projects:
Fit for entering the world of work
Pupils of the Theodor Heuss Grammar School in Pforzheim are prepared for entering the world of work in special workshops under the guidance of experienced practitioners. Through appropriate analysis, the pupils find out about the potentials, areas of expertise, intellectual and social skills which are of importance when it comes to choosing a course of studies and a profession.
Discovering professions on Girls' Day
What does a software developer actually do? What kind of job profiles can be found in a software company? Which junior specialists are in demand? In order to find out the answers to these and other questions concerning a professional future in a technical profession or a technically oriented company, Girls' Day offers six girls an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into what is practiced in a great many areas of the world of work and to make contacts.
Giving children a chance in life
In order to enable children in Mali to make an optimum start to their lives, we support the development of schools and the provision of learning and teaching materials, something which the charitable organization Recht auf Bildung ("Right to Education") has dedicated itself to. Our donations for projects in Djenné, Bougouni and Bafoulabé contribute to helping a large number of children with their basic school education.
Uniserv supports currently the commitment from the Pforzheimer Tafel e.V. (the board of Pforzheim) for those in social as well as financial needs. In addition to this Uniserv emphasizes its international orientation with a donation to the french non-profit making organization "Restaurants du Coeur" (Heart Restaurants) which act as well in a charitable capacity to the needy ones.
