In this connection, Cellent has created a range of IT products under the name of SMARAGD, which implement various aspects of fraud prevention in financial institutions, such as money laundering and terrorism financing prevention, embargo, compliance, illegal insider trading in securities, etc. SMARAGD has been successfully used in large and small financial institutions as well as in data processing centres and international offices of large commercial banks since 2001.
